Lyford Cay Club, located on New Providence, Bahamas, is full of unique style and beautiful design. Known for its iconic coral pink and white color combination, as well as an authentic,timeless, classic design, that has a bit of old school Bahamian flair.
Several years ago, interior designer Tom Scheerer gave the club a new look, while keeping its original sense of style. My husband and I have visited the club both before the renovation and after, and we still get that “awe feeling”, when you enjoy spending time in every room.
I thought I would share some photos I took from my last visit this past January. All photos included are by Tracy Dunn Design.
This stunning living room designed by Scheerer is one of my favorite rooms. I love how the coral pink and white were included in the design concept, as well as incorporating chocolate brown with the hand painted palm trees on the chocolate brown grasscloth. Shades of green were also included that give the room a beautiful flow and style.

The Grand Foyer is so iconic! This photo was taken from up above the double winding staircase. I love that the original design aesthetic was kept in place, including the semi circular sofas and antique mirrors, which are on either side of the center of the room, which you see here. How about those white painted tole 17 foot palm trees!
The Cabana Bar located right outside yours cabanas and pool area is so fun to grab a beverage and play a game of backgammon if you like, as well as taking a break from the sun. These cute gentlemen are so fun to chat with!
The Main Bar is one of my favorite rooms to gather and meet friends before dinner. The individual banquettes, lacquered faux bamboo coffee tables, wall treatment and leopard rug all blend so beautifully.
