New Year…New Think Magazine is out! I collaborated with the national brand, “Neat Method” this month to showcase how your home and office can become clutter-free. Most of us start the New Year with the goal and resolution to bring order to our life. We all know that saying it, and doing it, can sometimes be a huge struggle! I often tell my clients that if your closet is organized, it will take you minutes to pick your attire out for the day or evening. And when I say organized, I mean everything is arranged by color within each category. Why is this relevant to home design? I believe your closet should reflect the style of your home. Take a look at your closet and the rest of the house. Do they compliment each other? Part of smart, efficient home design is to have rooms organized. Whether the room is a playroom, office, mud room, bathroom, etc…as an Interior Designer, one of my goals is to bring order to my clients rooms, and that can involve finding items such as what I featured on the home design page. Additionally, I feel responsible for making suggestions for built-ins and finding the proper furniture that will provide storage, function and style. Don’t you love the Glamboxes jewelry stands so you can see all your bangles at once and keep them from getting scratched? I also favor the feathegrain wooden bins from The Container Store to keeps sweaters in. And for those of you with young children, the large 3Sprouts kids storage containers with the animal motifs are too cute! Happy New Year!!
